HOW DOES KEY PRESENTATION COACHING WORK?

My role is to challenge you / you and your colleagues to deliver a successful and confident  key presentation – one that your audience will be inspired by and want to say yes to whatever it is you are asking of them. 

Once we have established what you want the outcome of your presentation to be we will scrutinise and challenge your content, structure, flow and timing.

If you are using slides we will ensure each one earns its place and avoids inflicting ‘Death by Powerpoint’. We also look at how to Q&A manage.

There will lots of focus during the coaching on your delivery – whether that’s in-person or virtual – ensuring you get off to a confident, engaging start, maintain momentum and then deliver an inspiring, action driving finish, including if there is one how to manage and make the most of the Q&A.

If this a team presentation we will look at the roles each of you are undertaking to ensure seamless transitions between you. 

Sessions are 45 minutes on Zoom over two weeks so you can practice between sessions. 

STRUCTURE OF THE SESSIONS IN THIS PACKAGE

Three 45 minute sessions gives us the opportunity to ensure you smash it when it is time to deliver that key presentation. 

Session One:  Two weeks before your presentation – you’ve already created the outline of your presentation and sent it to me to review – we’ll go through it confirming the outcome you are seeking and then challenging the content, structure, flow and timing.

Session Two:   A week to go. You’ve made the tweaks we agreed during session one so in this session we will work on your delivery style and timing as well as checking the kit you’ll be using including if you are delivering in-person the venue set up. 

Session Three:  A couple of days before – a full on timed rehearsal. I’ll be your audience and coach. Key focus: the first 30 seconds, the summary round up and managing the Q&A session (if your presentation has one).

This final session goes on for as long as you need to feel completely ready to deliver that key presentation
