HOW DOES KEY SALES PITCH COACHING WORK?
My role is to challenge you / you and your colleagues to deliver a successful and confident key sales pitch – one that your audience will be inspired by and want to say yes to whatever it is you are asking of them.
Once we have established what you want the outcome of your sales pitch to be we will scrutinise and challenge your content, structure, flow and timing.
If you are using slides we will ensure each one earns its place and avoids inflicting ‘Death by Powerpoint’. We also look at how to Q&A manage.
There will lots of focus during the coaching on your delivery – whether that’s in-person or virtual – ensuring you get off to a confident, engaging start, maintain momentum and then deliver an inspiring, action driving finish, including if there is one how to manage and make the most of the Q&A.
If this a team sales pitch we will look at the roles each of you are undertaking to ensure seamless transitions between you.
Sessions are 45 minutes on Zoom over two weeks so you can practice between sessions.

Session One: Two weeks before your sales pitch – you’ve created the pitch and sent it to me in advance – we’ll go through it to check the content, structure, flow and timing and confirm the outcome you are seeking.
Session Two: You’ve made the tweaks we agreed during session one to the content, stucture and flow so in this session its about practising your delivery, getting the flow right – ideally still a week to go.
Session Three: A couple of days before the pitch – you deliver to me as though I am your audience – so a full dress rehearsal including introduction, timed delivery and Q&A session (if your pitch has one).
Each of the three sessions will be 45 minutes on Zoom – the length of time per session depends on how much time you need / have available.
Much of our focus will be on your audience and what they are expecting from your pitch and the desired outcome you are seeking from the pitch.
My role is to challenge you to deliver a better, more effective sales pitch, thus increasing your chances of success.
I’ll be looking at your content, structure, flow, use of slides, timing, presence, use of voice, audience interaction and how to manage any Q&A.
